Super Bowl champions

Over the past fifty years, the Super Bowl has attracted large crowds of supporters from different teams making it one of the most significant sporting events in the United States and the world as a whole. Sometimes the underdogs pulling a few surprise wins from the back to take the wins from right under the nose of more prominent teams in the NFL.

Here is a list of the past ten Super Bowl wins

  • Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburg Steelers beat Arizona Cardinals 27-23 in a tightly contested game. The win made them the first NFL team to bag six wins in the Super Bowl.

  • New Orleans Saints

This game at the Life Sun Stadium in Miami ended in a 31-17 win for the New Orleans Saints. The win was a double for the Saint as they were making their debut in the Super Bowl.

  • Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 31-25 win at the Cowboys Stadium. The Packers were the first NFL 6-seeded team to make the Super Bowl.

  • New York Giants

The Lucas Oil Stadium ended in a 21-17 victory for the Giants, an unexpected win for the Giants considering the inconsistent performance that season.

  • Baltimore Ravens

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome game led by the two Harbaugh brothers on both sides ended in a 34-31 win for the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers.

  • Seattle Seahawks

The 2013 Super Bowl set the first single most significant point difference in a victory of 35 on comparable to Dallas cow Boy’s victory in 1993 against Buffalo Bills. The game ended in a 43-8 victory for the Seattle Seahawks over Denver Broncos.

  • New England Patriots

The Patriots have had the most number of wins at the Super Bowl. The 46th Super Bowl was no exception; in 2015 Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks with a four points ending the game in 28-24.

  • Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos took an early lead in the game at Levi’s stadium and maintained the difference throughout the game ending in a 24-10 defeat against the Carolina Panthers

  • New England Patriots

The 51st Super Bowl was the first one to ever conclude in overtime as well as the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history. The game ended in 34-28 win against Falcons in the NRG Stadium in Houston.

  • Philadelphia Eagles

The most recent Super Bowl win was one of the big surprises in the sport’s history. The Philadelphia Eagles won the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The win was their very first in the Super Bowl and even more surprising beating the New England Patriots with an eight-point difference ending in 41-33.
